We’re sharing a little bit about The Skinny Dip Co-Founder Sara Rossi’s personal style and what she’s loving right now! She is also the founder of the handbag line Beau & Ro.
Why did you choose this outfit? I love a longer shirt dress. They’re easy and always look pulled together. The gingham is a little bold for me, but down south this fits right in!
Tell us about the accessories? This year I introduced rattan bags from Vietnam and this style is one of my favorites. I tend towards simple jewelry. For this look, I picked two Charleston jewelry designers. This gold horse cuff is subtle enough, but also a fun conversations starter.
Where is your favorite place for brunch? Nothing beats brunch on the water, brunch at CRU on Nantucket is a very magical occasion!
Describe your personal style? I’m a New Yorker, now living in Charleston so my wardrobe has had a bit of identity crisis as of late. But whether its black or pastel, I love all things long and flowy!
What trends are you loving right now? I’m loving that boho is back in a big way, and I’m a big fan of the high waist.
BY THE SEA LOOK
Who do you following on Instagram for inspiration? @JulieHEngle is a Charleston local and her style is always so on point. On an emotional level, I love @CleoWade, she is so inspiring and if you don’t have her book, I would pick it up! And for art, I love @samuelowen, they’re my favorite gallery on Nantucket.
Any style tips you can share? I think being comfortable is a sign of maturity! If you’re not comfortable in what you’re wearing it shows in your posture and your attitude.
Why did you choose this look? I love how nautical this dress is! It reminds me of sails on a boat.
Tell us about the bag? This bag is one I’ve been doing since we opened the Nantucket store, it’s the Nantucket Beach Permit and this year we made in 4 different colors.
What’s your favorite beach? I love walks on Steps Beach and relaxing on Tom Nevers on Nantucket, it’s just far enough out that it never gets crowded. In Charleston, you can find me on Sullivan’s Island.
NIGHT OUT LOOK
Why did you choose this look? To me there are few looks more chic than high waisted, wide leg, white pants, and this bow makes them all the better. I love white on white for any occasion, so this beige cashmere sweater made for the perfect pairing for cool summer nights.
Tell me about the accessories? I wanted to add a subtle pop of color with the accessories. Our Half Moon Clutch is sleek but can still fit so much inside, and can convert to a crossbody!
What are your favorite dinner spots? I love seafood! In Charleston, Leon’s, 167 Raw and The Ordinary are a few of my favorites. In NYC my friends and I have a secret BYOB sushi spot in the East Village that we’ve been going to for almost a decade, many memories and milestones have been celebrated there! On Nantucket, there are so many special restaurants, but for me, nothing beats a Great Point cookout, a tradition that started for me as a kid.
Picks For The Boys
I thought this was a fun Americana beach look. The shorts crack me up, and as I said, I’m huge fan of CRU! Kenny Flowers trunks and Montauk Mainstay CRU shirt are available in-store only.

These Orlebar Brown suits are meant to be worn on and off the water, making them the perfect transitional piece from beach to brunch. Throw on a button down to class it up. Kenny Flowers button down available in-store only.
This was just too much of a classic Nantucket night look to pass up. The cable knit sweater has been selling to women as well, it’s just so perfect for a night on the water.
